Hello!   

My name is Jackson. I am a writer and creative from the Pacific Northwest living in Southern California with too many books and Merle the cat.

Before graduating from Western Washington University’s journalism program, I worked for the campus newspaper and magazine as a staff reporter, and later, copy editor. 

As a reporter and editor, I developed a keen eye for detail and perfection through fact checking and edits.

Until the pandemic shutdown, I was working as a freelance reporter for a hyperlocal newspaper and marketing assistant in the live music industry when things came to a screeching halt.

As the world begins to reopen, I’m eager to get back to doing the work that I love.
